If you have problems focusing while you write, try using ILYS.

The site is coded so that you can’t see what you are writing, only the last letter, and you can’t edit anything until you get to your words goal.
This means you have to focus on writing and what’s on your mind, and not the editing of what you have written so far.
You have to write or you can’t edit.
Once you hit your goal you can edit and write normally, or go back and use ilys once again.

Since you don’t have to worry about editing, you can let your creativity flows.
It can be frustrating, but it’s also liberating because you have to let it go.

    Write first, edit later.

Poison Toffee Apples for Halloween

Ingredients
2 cups granulated sugar
¾ cups water
½ cup liquid glucose/light corn syrup
few drops black gel food colouring
6 Granny Smith apples (or 12 small apples)

Instructions
Grease a piece of baking paper and place on a tray/baking sheet.
Insert bamboo skewers in all the apples and set aside.
In a medium pot, combine the sugar, water, glucose/corn syrup and food colouring and stir over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture feels smooth when you rub it between your fingers.
When the sugar has dissolved, turn the heat up and wash the sides of the pot down with a pastry brush dipped into clean water to prevent crystals from forming.
Allow the caramel to boil until it reaches the hard crack stage (150°c/310°F).
Carefully dip the apples into the hot candy mixture and place on the baking paper to set and cool for approximately an hour before serving.

About me

Just my place here in which I collect things I like, things that inspire me, and things that make me laugh. Expect to see all sorts of different fandoms here. In The Flesh, Marvel (mainly MCU verse), and Hannibal - just to name a few. Random cuteness of animals is very common here, but on the bad days this might become flooded with dark and lonely posts. Music, fashion, and art that I enjoy can mostly be found in my likes section. Might even see some of my own art here or there too. Enjoy.
